Most cleaning jobs can be quoted over the phone.
We provide chimney cleaning for woodstoves, fireplaces and furnace flues.
The process of cleaning your chimney involves first an inspection to see if there is sufficent buildup of creosote and soot to warrant a cleaning at this time. Tarps are laid out on the floor and a triple filtered vacuum is used to keep your house clean during the cleaning process.

The hardened shiny creosote that is pictured in the chimney flues on the left is highly flammable under the right conditions and can burn at temperatures reaching 2000' F. This type of creosote is usually formed because of improper flue sizing to a woodstove and or improper operation of a woodstove. Special cleaning methods are required to remove this kind of buildup.
Standard buildup of creosote, soot, carbon and ash can be removed using normal chimney cleaning methods.
Failure to clean your chimney on a regular basis can lead to excess amounts of creosote such as in this stove below which also went through a chimney fire which helped destroy the exterior chimney in the lower picture.
